A postgraduate diploma in supply chain management is a two-year postgraduate diploma degree. The programme teaches students operations management skills and cultivates change agents capable of fostering an excellent culture of operational dexterity in the workplace.

Graduates of operations and supply chain management can find work in a variety of industries such as manufacturing IT, and government, with an average salary of INR 3 to 8 LPA. There are numerous other private and government colleges that offer PG diploma courses in operations and supply chain management, with fees ranging from INR 50,000 to INR 1,000,000 on average. The course teaches students about management principles, strategic management, cost accounting, quality management, supply chain management, with at least 50 percent aggregate marks enrol in the course.


Admission to the PGDM in operations is based on both entrance exams and merit. Some colleges do not hold an entrance exam and instead enrol students based on merit and performance in interviews; others may hold their own entrance exams such as SNAP, CAT, XAT, and so on.


Students should check their eligibility and apply for entrance-level exams in the case of entrance-level selection. Candidates must then pass the exam with the required minimum score. Following the completion of the test, the college or university announces the results and publishes a merit list of the candidates who were ultimately shortlisted.


Short-listed students can then finish the admissions process by visiting the college and paying the tuition fees. For admission to colleges that do not require entrance exams and are based at the college either online or offline depending on the college’s process and then wait for lists to be posted by the colleges, with the highest scorer receiving the stipend. The candidate must have earned a bachelor’s degree in any field. The student must have received at least 50% of the marks in 10+2 with +3 final year students who are awaiting their grades are also eligible to apply.
